Bob Jones Basketball

The site is the booster site of the Bob Jones boys basketball teams. I built a content management system for the site that allows them to be able to adjust the schedule, add news items and pictures, change the team members and put photo galleries on the site. The schedule for the team feeds to each team's page letting the site visitor know when the next game on the schedule happens. The news feeds to the homepage and to a RSS feed.

The DVD Marquee

This is a site that offers Podcast about the latest DVD releases. The content management system allows for the update of the episodes. The RSS feed is written to podcast standards allowing for an interface with iTunes. If you don't want to be tied down to iTunes you can still use the RSS feed to tell you when the latest edition is online and listen at the website. The episodes are recorded in mp3 format and the player on the site is in flash allowing for almost an instant start when you want to listen. The size of the mp3 file limits the CMS to only updating the text. Ftp has to be used for the mp3.
